Madison, NJ (December 2, 2019)- The FDU Women's Basketball program travels to face Division 1 University of Albany, on Wednesday, December 4. The game will be aired on ESPN+ with tip-off scheduled for 5 p.m.
We want to give you some behind the scenes insight on this Division 1 vs. Division 3 match-up to get you ready for the Devils on ESPN.

COACHING HISTORY
Devils Head Coach Melissa Brooks has shared the sideline with two coaches on the Great Danes staff, Head Coach Colleen Mullen and Associate Head Coach Meg Methven. Both were coaches at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2016-2018 alongside Brooks. Mullen served as Associate Head Coach while Methven and Brooks served as Assistant Coaches.

DID YOU KNOW
Brooks and Methven once battled head to head in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32. In March 2009, Brooks Holy Family squad fell to Methvens Stonehill Skyhawks 72-61. In the game, Coach Methven finished with 11 points on 3-5 from beyond the arc while Coach Brooks scored 9 points and tallied 6 assists.

SAME DAY HIRES
After the completion of their second year together on the same staff, Colleen Mullen and Brooks were named Head Coaches on the same day in the Spring of 2018.

FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
This is the first time in history that FDU-Florham and University of Albany will square off in women's basketball.
