MADISON, N.J. (November 1, 2019) – The FDU football team head to Wilkes University on Saturday as they take part in their final road game of the 2019 regular season.

Kick-off is scheduled for noon at Schmidt Stadium in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
LAST TIME OUT
The Devils were bested by Lycoming College 42-21 last Saturday. The Devils totaled three touchdowns, in which they eclipsed 70 plus yards in all of their scoring drives.
SCOUTING WILKES
The Colonels sit at 6-1 on the season and 4-1 within the Middle Atlantic Conference. In their last matchup, Wilkes defeated Misericordia 36-35 in overtime. In the contest, Colonels' freshman running back Jaquan Sheals totaled 159 yards and a touchdown. The Wilkes defense forced two internships in the game as well.

In their 2018 meeting, Wilkes defeated FDU 31-16 at Robert T. Shields Field. Current Devils' senior
Mihajlo Simakoski led the FDU defensive unit with a forced fumble. Before last year, the Devils defeated Wilkes in three consecutive matches, dating back to 2015.

Tommy Galante stepped in for the Devils and delivered a passing touchdown on 188 yards. Galante also ran for a 60-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

OFFENSES BEWARE
In last week's matchup versus Lycoming, the Devils' defense pressured the Warriors offense for two forced fumbles. Sophomores
Anthony Rajoppi and
Terance Saysay both recorded forced fumbles, while freshman
Frederick Cingerana tallied a fumble recovery.
MAKING CATCHES
Sophomore wide receiver
Connor Perez has garnered a total of 460 receiving yards in five games this season. Perez has also totaled at least four catches in all of those games while registering six touchdown receptions.

Senior
Nick Maciejewski has punted 37 times this season, with 38.4 average, which ranks him third among all MAC players. The senior also ranks second in the MAC in total punting yards, with 1422. Maciejewski is 4-5 on his field-goal attempts on the season. His four made field goals ranks him fifth in the MAC.
