Christine Kenny won a pair of matches as the FDU women's tennis team extended their winning streak to five with a 6-3 triumph over Brooklyn College Monday.
FDU is now 5-0 on the year, while Brooklyn drops to 1-9.
Despite dropping an 8-4 decision at the top of the doubles lineup, FDU rebounded with 8-0 wins at the next two flights to grab a 2-1 lead entering singles. Kenny partnered with classmate
Kasia Kasztelan for the 8-0 win at the No. 2 flight, while senior
Logan Squires and rookie
Kayla Dello Iacono extended the lead at No. 3 doubles.
Junior
Nicole DelRosso and Dello Iacono were tripped up in their respective singles matches at No. 1 and No. 2, but the rest of the lineup sealed the victory. Out of the bottom four flights, everyone won by identical 6-0, 6-0 margins. Junior

Mia Capozzoli, and sophomore
Erin Weller competed at No. 3, 5, and 6, respectively, while Kenny earned her second victory at the No. 4 flight.

The Devils close out the fall portion of their schedule with a pair of matches on Friday. They will head across the street to the College of Saint Elizabeth at 2 p.m. before welcoming Rutgers University-Newark at 4 p.m.
