UNION, N.J. (October 24, 2019) –The FDU Florham volleyball team fell to Kean University 3-0 in a road matchup on Thursday night.
The Devils move to 8-14 on the year, and the Cougars improve to 22-8.
In the first set, freshman Sophia Miskulin led the Devils in kills with a pair. The junior duo of Liz Moise and Jessica Garreffa also recorded kills in the set. The Cougars, however, used a string of runs to secure the set victory, 25-13.
In the second set, senior Nathalia Padron spearheaded the Devils' effort with three kills. Miskulin also contributed a kill of her own. The Cougars offensive unit was too potent, as they escaped with the 25-12 win.
In the third and final set, Kean was successful once more. Padron and Moise both tallied a kill, to add to their total. The Cougars defeated the Devils in the set by a score of 25-7.
