ELIZABETHTOWN, PA. (March 17, 2018) - The FDU women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 5-4 match to Elizabethtown Saturday afternoon.
The Devils drop to 3-2, while the Blue Jays even their mark at 3-3.
FDU held a 2-1 edge after doubles play, as senior

Kira Bradley earned a point with a thrilling 9-8 (7-5) victory at No. 2 doubles. Freshman
Brooke Dorsey and junior
Allyson Wolf made quick work of their opponents at No. 3 doubles, winning handily 8-2.
The Devils were down 4-2 after dropping the first three singles flights. Wolf fought hard at No. 3, eventually falling 6-4, 6-4. Grande and Bradley keyed the comeback for FDU, picking up clutch wins at fourth and fifth singles respectively. Bradley's victory was grueling, as the rookie won both 7-5.
In the sixth and deciding singles match, senior
Amelia Vetto gave everything she had. After winning the first set 6-3, her opponent rebounded with a 6-2 triumph. In the final frame, Vetto jumped out to a 5-2 edge before her opponent took the final five games en route to a 7-5 setback.
FDU is back in action April 4, opening MAC Freedom play against King's at 3:30 p.m. in Wilkes Barre, PA.
