MADISON, N.J. (October 18, 2018) - The FDU-Florham women's tennis team knocked off Brooklyn College 8-1 Thursday.
The Devils improved to 6-0 on the season, and will be competing in the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships this weekend.
FDU made it a clean sweep at doubles, winning all three flights.
Christine Kenny and
Mia Capozzoli won 8-0 at No. 3, while
Brooke Dorsey and
Allyson Wolf notched an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
Nicole DelRosso and
Kira Bradley battled in the best doubles match of the day, picking up a hard-fought 8-7 (7-5) win.
Wolf, Capozzoli and Dorsey each recorded identical 10-0 wins at No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively, moving to 2-0 on the day. DelRosso and Bradley also picked up singles wins, with DelRosso cruising to a 10-3 win at the top of the lineup. Bradley rolled to an 8-3 win at No. 4, capping off the day.
