MADISON, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham women's basketball team used a 46-point second half to rally over conference foe Eastern University, 71-63, in Madison, N.J. on Wednesday night.
The Devils improve to 4-1 in the Middle Atlantic Conference and 11-5 overall as the Eagles drop to 4-12 on the season and 1-4 in the MAC Freedom.
Junior
Bria Smith recorded a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds including seven offensive and seven defensive.Â
FDU went on a 16-3 run over a span of 4:25 in the fourth quarter to grab the lead for the first time.Â
The Devils held on in the last five minutes and pushed to extend their lead earn the victory.Â
Sophomore
Gabrielle Harris had a dominant performance on the court, recording 23 points in the second half alone, including five from behind-the-arc.Â
Eastern's Taylor Price gave the Devils trouble all night, putting 23 points including nine rebounds and four three-pointers.
Junior
Kayla Croswell made a different in the night with 11 points and six rebounds as junior
Raven Dowling grabbed four steals and made nine assists.
Up next, FDU travels to Doylestown, Pa. to take on conference rival Delaware Valley on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m.
