MADISON, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Farmingdale State College Saturday afternoon at Robert T. Shields Field. 

The Devils fall to 0-4 on the season as the Rams moved to 2-1.

Despite even play for the first 10 minutes of the game, the Rams were able to convert on a goal scoring opportunity as Carlos Rivera took the ball up the left side and fed it through the center for a one-timer tap in at the feet of Christian Campos. 

The Devils held strong through the first, holding off an agressive Rams attack to keep things at 1-0 through half time.

FDU-Florham stepped up its intensity in the second, pounding on five shots, but to no avail. 

Freshman Brandon McGregor was a workhorse in center midfield for the Devils, striking two shots on goal as junior Adam Gill put on the pressure with three shots on target.

Freshman Ricky La Stella also impressed on the field, winning several 50-50 balls and creating scoring opportunities for the Devils.

Despite FDU-Florham's momentum, it was Rams attacker Tobi Ojuade who finished on a cross from John Kender to make it 2-0.

In goal, sophomore Liam Ryan made three saves.

Up next, the Devils face The College of New Jersey on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at Robert T. Shields Field.
