MADISON, N.J. (September 28, 2017) - The FDU women's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 victory over Lehman Thursday afternoon.
The freshmen third doubles pairing of
Brooke Dorsey and
Kira Bradley dominated in their collegiate, winning 8-0. Freshman
Nicole DelRosso teamed with sophomore
Mia Capozzoli for an 8-2 win, while senior Serina Grande and sophomore
Christine Kenny won at No. 1 doubles in an 8-4 fashion.
DelRosso, Kenny and freshman Brittnay Doughty each picked up 6-0, 6-0 victories at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 6 singles respectively. Bradley, who slotted in at No. 2 singles, used a 6-2, 6-0 victory to earn her first collegiate singles win. Capozzoli won by an identical margin, and junior Fidelle El-Asmar grinded out a 7-5, 6-1 win to complete the sweep.
FDU is back in action Saturday, taking part in the NJAIAW Individual Tournament.
