MADISON, N.J. (September 18, 2017) - Despite holding a slight edge in shots, the FDU field hockey team fell 2-0 to Rowan in non-conference action Monday.
The Devils drop to 5-2 on the season, while Rowan moves to 4-3.
Neither team could find a shot on goal until the 13th minute, and the Profs had an opportunity off a penalty corner, but junior
Samantha Rubin made a save. The Devils had a chance in the 17th minute as junior
Brooke Sherwin had an attempt blocked by a defender.
Rowan broke through at the 17:15 mark as Bridget Boyle flicked a shot in the upper corner.
