WILKES BARRE, Pa. (April 29, 2017) - The FDU women's tennis team concluded its regular season with a 5-4 setback against King's Saturday.
Despite dropping the opening two doubles matches, the No. 3 team of
Serina Grande and
Amy Slobodzian scored a 8-6 win. The Devils dominated the No.1 and No. 2 singles, as
Allyson Wolf and
Serina Grande dropped just one game between the two of them.
Christine Kenny and Fidella El-Asmar each went to three sets at No. 3 and No. 5 singles respectively, but were unable to find a victory. El-Asmar won the opener 7-5, before falling 6-4, 6-4 in the next two.
Mia Capozzoli was the Devils other win on the day, picking up a three set victory at No. 6 singles.
