CENTER VALLEY, Pa. (April 12, 2017) - The FDU women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to DeSales on Wednesday.

The Devils fell to 2-9, 0-3 in the MAC Freedom, while DeSales moved to 14-1, 3-0 in the MAC Freedom.

Christina Kenny nearly pulled out a win at second singles, as her and Sarah Lightner split the opening two sets. The two battled before Lightner pulled out a 10-8 win in the third and final set. Mia Capozzoli also battled strong at fifth singles. falling 6-3, 6-4. Amy Slobodzian was the lone singles winner for FDU, winning a one set match 8-6.

Serina Grande and Slobodzian doubled up their opponent 8-4 at second singles, while Fidelle El-Asmar and Capozzoli dropped a hard fought 8-3 decision at third doubles.
