MADISON, N.J. (April 1, 2017) - The FDU women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision in the MAC Freedom opener against Eastern Saturday.
After dropping the first two decisions at first and second singles, Christine Kenny got the Devils back in with a three-set win at third singles.Kenny and Leslie Henry split the first two sets before winning 6-4 in the third and final set.
Fidelle El-Asmar and Amy Slobodzian each picked up straight set wins at fifth and sixth singles, with second set of each going 6-2 in favor of FDU. The third doubles team of Slobodzian and Serina Grande dominated with a 8-3 win, to finish off the afternoon.
