MADISON, NJ -- The Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham men's soccer team fell to Drew University, 2-0, in the 2016 season opener at Ranger Stadium on Thursday night.
The two teams battled through a scoreless first half, but Drew capitalized on two good scoring opportunities to seal the win in the second half.

JT Bretschneider kept his team in the game with a diving save at the end of the first half to keep it scoreless.
The Rangers opened the second half with a quick goal by Sebastien Etta-Ashu off a long cross from Joe Sollod.

Jay Bower each had two shots of their own, but none found their way inside the Rangers' net.
Drew's Cole Leckburg scored a reassurance goal with just over five minutes left in regulation time as goalie John Marques earned the shutout with two saves.
