Women's Tennis Drops Season Finale to King's

Freshman Raven Dowling earned a win in fourth singles on Saturday

MADISON, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham women's tennis team dropped its season finale 7-2 to King's College on Saturday afternoon.

The Devils (4-11) earned their two victories in singles action as the Monarchs (7-9) took control from the outset by sweeping doubles play.

Freshman Allyson Wolf tallied a victory in second singles by topping Julia Keppel 6-3, 6-2. Wolf's win caps a strong first-season for the first-year standout.

The Devils' lone other win of the day came courtesy of another talented freshman Raven Dowling. The two-sport athlete used her quickness to outduel Hannah Jenkins 6-1, 6-4 in fourth singles.
