EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham women's tennis team was unable to take down the first-place Wilkes University Colonels on Saturday, falling 9-0 at Ralston Athletic Complex.

The Devils (4-9, 1-3 MAC Freedom) dropped each flight to the Colonels (16-2, 4-0 MAC Freedom), who continued their dominant conference play.

Sophomore Serina Grande nearly pulled out a win in third singles for the Devils and battled in three sets. Grande took a first-set tiebreaker from Wilkes' Taylor Hoffmann, however, Hoffmann responded by cruising to a 6-0 win in the second set before claiming the third set 10-7.

FDU-Florham is back in action this Wednesday, April 27 when they travel down Madison Avenue to take on cross-street rival Drew University at 4 p.m.
