ASHLAND, Va. (December 29, 2016) -- The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's basketball team dropped an 81-61 decision to Randolph-Macon on Thursday night in the Randolph Macon Coaches Tournament in Ashland, Va.
The Devils fell to 3-5 on the season as the Yellow Jackets improved to 5-5.Â
FDU-Florham looked to the talents of their veteran captain
Donte Ali, who was everywhere for the team. The senior went 7-for-12, notched 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made three blocks in the night.
While the Devils had the points in paint advantage with 42, the Yellow Jackets swarmed together an overwhelming 11 three-pointers that FDU-Florham never matched.Â

Steve Herdman worked the court, going 4-for-9 and adding 10 points alongside four rebounds and a pair of assists while senior
Veon Lassiter picked up 11 points, four rebounds and made one block. Sophomore
Darren Davy added eight points of his own in the effort and picked up six rebounds, two assists and a block.Â
The Yellow Jackets were led by Grayson Midulla who earned a game-high 21 points while Montese Adams recorded a game-high 14 rebounds in the victory.Â
The Devils close out the tournament against Johns Hopkins University Friday at 5 p.m. in Ashland, Va.
