BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The FDU-Florham volleyball team a dropped a 3-1 decision to Moravian College on Friday morning in Bethlehem, Pa.
The Devils dropped to 13-8 as the Greyhounds rose to 12-10.
Despite the two teams being even with 94 digs each, Moravian found a 64-42 kill advantage for the victory.
Sophomore
Kate Quinlan came up big for the Devils with 13 kills and two blocks. Classmate
Lauren Harris added 11 kills while junior
Melissa Gaffney notched seven.Â
Junior
Rachel Catena continued her defensive dominance with 31 digs while
Courtney Conte added 20 to go along with her 32 assists.
Junior
Nikole Meluso was also a force, putting out three aces and 15 digs in the effort.Â
Up next, FDU-Florham returns to conference action against Eastern University on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Ferguson Recreation Center.
