MADISON, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham volleyball team dropped a 3-0 conference match to No. 12 Eastern on Wednesday, Oct. 12 in the Ferguson Recreation Center.

The Devils fell to 13-9 as the Eagles rose to 18-2 after grabbing the sweep, 25-11, 25-18 and 25-12 in the match up.

Outside hitters Melissa Gaffney and Lauren Harris notched four kills each and combined for a total of 15 digs. 

Junior Courtney Conte worked with 12 assists while Rachel Catena grabbed eight digs. 

Still, Eastern's Stephanie Elechko was a force to be reckoned with, recording 16 kills and Rylie Haas made 14 digs.

Up next, FDU-Florham takes on Stevens Institute of Technology on Friday, Oct. 14 at 4 p.m. in their first match of the Stevens Invitational this weekend.
