ST. DAVIDS, Pa. -- FDU-Florham field hockey senior
Kim Davis broke her second program record this week, scoring her 48th career goal to grab the school's All-Time Career Goals Scored record in the Devils' 2-0 conference win over Eastern University.
On Wednesday, Davis recorded her 116th point to take the school's All-Time Career Points record in a 5-1 win over Keystone College.
The Devils rose to 7-5 and 2-1 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom in Friday's win.
A pair of goals in the first nine minutes proved to be the difference in the shutout.
Davis' record-breaking goal followed a penalty corner just 4:53 into the contest.
About four minutes later, junior
Marissa Kowalskie tapped in an insurance goal off a deflection.Â
In net, sophomore
Samantha Rubin played a huge role in holding FDU-Florham's lead with six saves while seniors
Erin O'Connell and
Noelle Shirey made a defensive save each in the shutout.Â
Up next, the Devils will take on Lebanon Valley College in their Pink game on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. to support head field hockey coach
Jenn Noon and the fight against breast cancer.Â
