MADISON, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham women's tennis team kicked off the 2015-16 season with a 6-3 victory over Lycoming College on Saturday afternoon at the Florham Campus.

The Devils (1-0) claimed five out of the six singles matches including the top four flights in the victory over the Warriors (0-4). First-year Allyson Wolf rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 victory in first singles before teaming up with Raven Dowling in second doubles for an 8-1 rout. 

Remy Astorino began her fall season with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Lycoming's Sophie Herzing, which was promptly followed by Serina Grande's 6-0, 6-1 victory in third singles. Dowling in fourth singles, and Amy Slobodzian in sixth singles each claimed their matches in comfortable fashion.

The Devils are back in action on Thursday, October 1 when they host Arcadia University at 2 p.m.
