HUNTINGTON, Pa. -- Competing in the first-ever Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's Tennis Championships, the FDU-Florham women's tennis team dropped a tight 5-4 contest to Misericordia University in the tournament's consolation round on Sunday morning at Juniata College's Raffensperger Tennis Courts.
The loss ends a successful season for the Devils (7-12, 3-3 Freedom), who also qualified for the Freedom Conference Tournament this season. The ECAC berth was the first non-conference postseason appearance in the program's history.

The Cougars responded by claiming second and third singles, which sealed the win. FDU-Florham's
Jill Duke (Secuacus, N.J.),
Remy Astorino (Fairfield, N.J.), and
Tenzin Lama (Kearny, N.J.) were each victorious in fourth, fifth, and sixth singles respectively.
