DALLAS, Pa. – The FDU-Florham men's tennis team earned a 5-4 victory over Misericordia University in their final Freedom Conference match of the regular season on Saturday afternoon.

The Devils (6-8, 4-2), who are locked in as the third seed in the Freedom Conference Tournament, will take on the loser of the King' s College and Wilkes University match scheduled for tomorrow.

FDU-Florham senior Mitch Gettis (Reading, Pa.)  won first singles 6-3, 6-4, which was followed by Max Moscowitz's (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) win in second singles 6-2, 6-3.

Junior Ryan O'Keefe (Honesdale, Pa.) claimed a three-setter over Misericordia's Nicholas Hendry in third singles and the Devils won first and second doubles to seal the victory.

The Devils won the match despite a short-handed roster, which was forced to take walkovers in sixth singles, as well, as third doubles.
