Madison, NJ (July 11)- FDU-Florham Men's Tennis senior, Rondal Duval (Old Bridge, NJ) was recognized this morning by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) as a part of the Spring Academic All-MAC teams for men's tennis. 
 
The Fall Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2025 Spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award. 
 
Duval is one of 131 spring student-athletes to receive this honor and one of 13 for men's tennis. 

This season, Duval participated in 16 singles matches and 17 doubles matches. He earned victories in 7 singles matches and 12 doubles matches, achieving his first singles win (6-3, 3-6, 10-7) against Moravian on Oct. 11, 2024, and his first doubles win (8-1) against Penn College on Sept. 15, 2024. Duval also helped FDU reach the playoffs as he was victorious against Misericordia during his singles match (7-6, 6-3) on Apr. 11.  

The FDU men's tennis team captured its first ECAC win against Johnson & Wales- Charlotte and was crowned this year's Champions after a 5-hour match resulting in a 4-2 score. Duval helped bring the Devils to this victory as he and Matthew Emery (Howell, NJ) led the day with a 7-5 victory in Doubles #1 as well as leading in Singles #2 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory. He was named the championship match MVP. 

During his senior season, Duval received accolades such as 2025 MAC Winter & Spring Academic Honor Roll, 2025 CSC Academic All-District, 2025 Spring All-MAC Sportsmanship Team, as well as the 2025 FDU Devils Athletics Male Scholar Athlete.
