MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-18) sweep of Delaware Valley University on Tuesday night at the Ferguson Recreation Center
Freshman setter
Kristi Wong totaled eight kills and seven assists in two sets to lead the Devils (21-8, 4-2 MAC Freedom) to the victory.
The Devils controlled the tempo for the duration of the three sets and limited the Aggies (1-15, 0-6 MAC Freedom) to just 10 kills on the night.
With
Lauren Harris serving, the Devils opened up an 8-2 lead in the first set and never looked back. Harris, the team's leader in kills, tallied six on 15 attempts and added 11 digs to her ledger in the victory.
Ten different Devils registered kills in the win as the team used three setters to generate the offense. Sophomore setter Codi Inloes-
Williams dished out 14 assists in the first two sets before giving way to
Courtney Conte in the final frame, who added nine helpers.
The Devils return to action when they host Moravian College in a non-conference tilt this Thursday, October 22 at 7 p.m.
