Box Score PATCHOGUE, N.Y. -- The FDU-Florham Devils will not repeat as champions of the Gary Smith Invitational, as they were defeated by the Arcadia University Knights 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph's College (Long Island).
Despite outshooting Arcadia 10-7 in the contest, the Devils (1-2) were blanked by the Knights (1-0-1) on Saturday afternoon. FDU-Florham could not find the back of the net, however, the Knights made the most of their opportunities and in the 37th minute, netted the game-winning goal on a header.

In the waning seconds of regulation, Ross added a goal and concluded the 2-0 victory for the Knights. Making his first start of the season in goal, Devils sophomore keeper
Frank Maggiore Jr. (Montville, N.J./Montville) totaled three saves in the loss. FDU-Florham captain
Tommy Asselta (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage) fired four shots in the game to lead the Devils.
