GALLOWAY, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham men's soccer team was unable to breakthrough offensively on Saturday, falling to Richard Stockton College 4-0.
The Devils (2-3-1) only managed three shots against the Ospreys' (5-1-1) stingy defense in the loss.
Stockton opened the scoring 8:41 into action when
Anthony Colofranson headed in a pass from
Ian Carmelia. Later in the half, junior defenseman
Joe Stapleton picked up his first career goal by hitting the top corner of the net, which gave the home team a 2-0 advantage.
Alex Kourhanis added his own header just before halftime, which sent the Ospreys into the break with a 3-0 lead. Four different Ospreys scored in the game, as
Jose Islas iced the victory with the fourth goal late in the second half.

Nick Mihalik (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) made five saves in the loss, as freshman keeper
JT Bretschneider (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) played the final 45 minutes and made three saves.
