MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham women's tennis team was defeated 8-1 on Wednesday afternoon by the Eastern University Eagles.

With the loss, the Devils drop to 2-7 on the season, while the Eagles improved to 8-4.

Senior Jenna Cowie (Longmont Colo./Longmont) picked up the lone victory for FDU-Florham with an 8-5 win in singles competition.
