Box Score Madison, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils men's soccer team (4-3-1) cruised to victory on Saturday afternoon against the College of Staten Island Dolphins (1-6-1) 4-nil.

The Devils were in control from the outset; Ryan Hurdes (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) started the scoring in the 16^th minute when he drove home a smooth feed from Igor Petrovic (Clifton, NJ/Clifton),  putting FDU ahead 1-0.

Tommy Asselta (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage) launched the Devils second goal of the day into the back of the net on a direct kick from 35-yards out. Asselta's highlight goal was soon matched by freshman teammate Luke Devine (Eldersburg, MD), who scored from 25-yards out on a blast to the upper right corner of the net, putting the Devils up 3-0.

Hurdes netted his second goal of the game and his team-leading ninth of the season in the 82nd minute, to put the icing on the cake.

The Devils tallied ten shots on goal in the victory while limiting the Dolphins to just two.

FDU heads down to Centenary College (NJ) this Wednesday, September 25^th, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
