MORRISTOWN, NJ - For the second time in a week, the College at Florham Devils beat St. Elizabeth, this time by a score of 8-1 in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 2-9.
Junior
Megan Scherer won at first singles (6-1, 6-1) and combined with junior
Lindsey Martin to win at first doubles (8-0). Martin also won at fourth singles by a score of 6-0, 6-0. Freshman
Gabriella Vitiello took third singles by a count of 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) and teamed with freshman
Shannon Andress to win at third doubles (8-0). Sophomore
Michelle Berkenstock won at second singles (6-0, 6-0), freshman
Tenzin Lama took fifth singles (6-0, 3-0, retired), and junior
Jennifer Epstein won at sixth singles (6-0, 6-0).
The Devils return to action on Saturday, April 6, 2013, with their Freedom Conference opener at home against Misericordia beginning at 11 am.
