HILTON HEAD, SC - The College at Florham Devils women's tennis team competed in their annual Spring Break Trip in Hilton Head, SC, this past week.  Here are their results:

SHEPHERD - The Devils were defeated by a score of 7-2 in their closest match of the trip.  Junior Megan Scherer won at second singles (6-2, 6-1) while freshman Gabriella Vitiello took fifth singles by a count of 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (9-7).

EDGEWOOD - FDU was knocked off by a count of 8-1.  The team of Scherer and junior Jenna Cowie picked up the win at first doubles by a score of 8-6.

BALDWIN-WALLACE - The Devils were defeated by a score of 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.  Freshman Tenzin Lama came closest to getting FDU a win, as she fell at sixth singles (7-5, 6-3).

MESSIAH - FDU was beaten by Messiah, 9-0, in their final match of the trip.  Cowie was the closest to earning a victory at second singles, as she lost by a count of 6-3, 6-2.

The Devils return to action on Friday, March 29, 2013, at home against St. Elizabeth beginning at 3 pm.
