HILTON HEAD, SC - The College at Florham Devils completed their 2013 Spring Break Trip this past week, and although they didn't pick up a win on the trip, they showed some great promise for the rest of the season.  The results are as follows:

SHEPHERD - The Devils were knocked off by a score of 6-3.  Sophomore Mitch Gettis and junior Nasar Mannan combined to win at second doubles (8-4) while freshman Nikola Radovic took fifth singles by a score of 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 10-4.  Freshman Jonsin Aybalik earned the final win at sixth singles (6-2, 6-4).

EDGEWOOD - FDU showed very well in a 5-4 loss that saw them pick up all four victories in singles competition.  Mannan won at second singles (6-2, 6-0), junior AJ Warden took fourth singles (6-2, 6-2), junior Kevin Kotsak notched fifth singles (6-4, 6-2), and junior Ryan Hurdes won at sixth singles (6-1, 6-4).

BALDWIN-WALLACE - The Devils were defeated by a score of 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.  Hurdes came closest to picking up a win, as he fell at sixth singles by a score of 7-5, 6-2.

GORDON - FDU once again came within a point of victory, falling by a margin of 5-4.  Warden and Aybalik teamed to win at second doubles (8-5) while junior Ryan Kearns and senior Nate Pike combined to win at third doubles (8-2).  Kotsak won at fifth singles (6-0, 6-2) while Radovic took sixth singles (6-2, 6-2).

MESSIAH - In their final match of the trip, the Devils were knocked off by Messiah by a score of 6-3.  Warden and Kearns won at first doubles (8-5) while Warden also won at second singles (6-2, 6-3).  Gettis and Mannan combined for the other win at second doubles (8-3).

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at home against Mount Saint Mary beginning at 2 pm.
