Box Score ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – The FDU-Florham Devils volleyball team (16-17, 2-4 MAC) fell to the Freedom Conference-leading Eastern University Eagles (25-4, 6-0 MAC) in straight-sets (25-15, 25-17, 25-11) on Tuesday night.
With the win, the Eagles have clinched the No. 1 seed in the Freedom Conference playoffs.
The Devils struggled to neutralize the Eastern attack, as five different Eagles tallied five or more kills in the match.
Helena Riede (Haworth, N.J./Northern Valley Demarest) and
Lauren Edwards (Perry Hall, Md./Roland Park County) led the way for FDU in defeat, totaling six and five kills respectively.

Maggie Kaszuba (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) handed out 16 assists in the loss, while her Eagles counterpart Rikki Schlager totaled 33 assists.
With the loss, the Devils fall to sixth place in the Freedom Conference with one more conference match to play.
