Box Score 2 MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils volleyball team (16-16, 2-3 MAC) split a home tri-match on Wednesday by defeating Maritime College 3-0 (25-10, 25-2, 25-10) and falling to Freedom Conference foe Delaware Valley 0-3 (20-25, 19-25, 20-25).

Helena Riede (Haworth, N.J./Northern Valley Demarest) led the way in the Devils victory, posting nine kills and three digs in the three-set sweep.
In the first match of the day, the Aggies of Delaware Valley (10-12, 2-3 MAC) defeated FDU in straight-sets led by junior setter Crystal Ronan. Ronan totaled five aces in the Aggies three-set victory by using a powerful jump serve to stifle the Devils passing game. In the loss, Riede managed double-digit kills and junior setter
Maggie Kaszuba (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) handed out 24 assists.
In the tri-match finale, the Devils found their stride by sweeping the Maritime Privateers 3-0. Kaszuba and freshman libero
Alex Mueller (Gainesville, FL/Eastside) each served four aces in the win for the Devils. FDU sophomore
Jean Etersque (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) added stellar defense for the Devils and tallied 11 digs in the victory.
The Devils have now won five of their last six contests over their recent home-game stretch.
