MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Eastern, 5-4, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.  The loss eliminates FDU from the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 3-12 (1-3 Freedom).

Senior Marcie Schlanger was a double winner for the Devils, taking fourth singles by a score of 7-6 (7-4), 10-3 while teaming with junior Kristen Lefkus to win at second doubles (8-6).  Sophomore Jenna Cowie took third singles (6-3, 6-0) while freshman Michelle Berkenstock won at fifth singles (6-2, 6-2).

The Devils return to action on Monday, April 23, 2012, at home against Mount Saint Mary beginning at 3 pm.
