Box Score NEWARK, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were downed by Rutgers-Newark, 2-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 5-8 on the season.

The Scarlet Raiders started the scoring 12:57 into the contest but the Devils got their bearings and kept it at 1-0 for the remainder of the first half.  Newark added an insurance goal though, in the 54th minute to seal the victory.  The Devils had their chances to get on the board, as each squad fired 11 shots, but couldn't find the net.

Freshman goalkeeper Andrew D'Angelo suffered the loss, making two saves.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at home for Homecoming against Wilkes beginning at 2 pm.
