Box Score 4 YORK, PA - The College at Florham Devils knocked off Centenary, 3-0 (27-25, 25-20, 25-15), on the Second Day of the York (PA) Tournament on Saturday afternoon. Before picking up the win though, FDU was defeated by Grove City, Stevenson and Cortland.
With the results from the tournament, the Devils are now 2-13 on the season.
GROVE CITY - The Devils fell by a score of 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-23). Freshman outside hitter
Savannah Hickox posted six kills and 19 digs while junior middle hitter
Helena Riede added five kills, eight assists and six digs. Sophomore setter
Riley Brewer notched 13 assists while freshman libero
Madison Cicchetti and sophomore outside hitter
Lauren Edwards each had 10 digs.
STEVENSON - FDU was downed by a count of 3-0 (25-8, 25-15, 25-13). Riede had four kills, eight assists and seven digs while Cicchetti tallied 11 digs.
CORTLAND - The Devils were defeated 3-1 (25-10, 25-18, 23-25, 25-22). Riede recorded seven kills and 13 digs while Hickox had seven kills and seven digs. Brewer tallied 12 assists and 13 digs, Cicchetti notched 14 digs and freshman outside hitter
Jean Etersque had 10 digs.
CENTENARY - In the win, Hickox had eight kills and nine digs while Brewer added 15 assists and four aces. Etersque tallied 12 digs.
The Devils return to action on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Delaware Valley beginning at 7 pm.
