MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Rowan, 3-1, in non-conference action on Saturday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 3-6.

After a scoreless first half, Rowan got on the board first at the 53:47 mark before grabbing a 2-0 lead in the 74th minute.  FDU cut it to 2-1 with 11:57 left in the game when junior midfielder Josh Corpuz converted a breakaway.  That was as close as the Devils would get though, as the Profs added an insurance goal with 0:44 remaining to cap the scoring.

Junior goalkeeper Tim Kirk suffered the loss, making one save.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at home against Berkeley beginning at 7 pm.
