MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils knocked off Manhattanville, 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-20), in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams on Wednesday evening.

With the win, the Devils improved to 8-3 (1-0 Freedom) while the Valiants dropped to 6-2 (0-1 Freedom).

The Devils played 20 different players in the match but FDU's two right side's led the squad kills as sophomore Jenna Cowie had five while freshman Andrea Peters notched four.  Junor setter Nicole Weissert tallied 23 assists, senior libero Marta Matera recorded 15 digs, and freshman outside hitter Momi Mariani finished with 10 digs.

The Devils return to action on Friday, September 16, 2011, at the Stevens Tournament against Franklin beginning at 6 pm and against Stevens starting at 8 pm.
