MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils picked up their first victory of the season on Thursday afternoon, defeating Manhattanville by a score of 5-4 in Freedom Conference action.
With the win, the Devils improved to 1-6 (1-4 Freedom) while the Valiants dropped to 1-12 (0-5 Freedom).
Sophomore
Kristen Lefkus led the way for FDU, as she won at third singles and combined with senior
Marcie Schlanger to win at second doubles. Freshman
Alyssa Birch was also a double winner, taking sixth singles and teaming with freshman
Jennifer Epstein to win at third doubles. Sophomore
Adrienne Nenow was the final winner for FDU, as she took first singles.
The Devils return to action on Tuesday, April 26, at home against St. Elizabeth beginning at 3 pm.
