WILKES-BARRE, PA - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Wilkes, 3-0, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 5-8 (1-1 Freedom) while the Colonels improved to 5-6 (1-1 Freedom).

The Colonels started the scoring just 9:41 into the game but the Devils got the bearing and kept it at 1-0 until Wilkes made it 2-0 with only 1:06 remaining before halftime.  Wilkes then added an insurace goal with 17:13 left to cap the scoring.  FDU held an 18-10 advantage in shots but could not find the back of the net.

Junior goalkeeper Tim Kirk suffered the loss, making one save.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Manhattanville beginning at 3 pm.
