MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by King's, 2-1, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 5-10 (1-3 Freedom) while the Monarchs improved to 8-3-2 (2-2 Freedom).

After the majority of the first half was spent scoreless, King's got on the board with 8:34 left to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.  The Monarchs made it 2-0 at the 68:34 mark but the Devils came right back to cut it to 2-1 just a minute later when senior defender Anthony Sarcone converted a pass from junior midfielder Josh Corpuz.  That was all the Devils could muster though, as King's earned the win.

Junior goalkeeper Tim Kirk suffered the loss, making six saves.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Eastern beginning at 4 pm.
