PURCHASE, NY - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Manhattanville, 3-0, in Freedom Conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 5-9 (1-2 Freedom) while the Valiants improved to 10-3 (2-1 Freedom).

After a scoreless first half, Manahttanville got on the board at the 56:38 mark before adding insurance goals 17:44 and 11:04 left in the game, respectively.  The Valiants held a 20-2 edge in shots and a 13-2 advantage in corner kicks in the contest.

Junior goalkeeper Tim Kirk suffered the loss, making six saves.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at home against King's beginning at 11 am.
