MADISON, NJ - Junior midfielder Josh Corpuz had a goal and an assist to help the College at Florham Devils beat Delaware Valley by a score of 3-1 in the Freedom Conference openers for both teams on Saturday afternoon.

With the win, the Devils improved to 5-6 (1-0 Freedom) while the Aggies dropped to 4-5 (0-1 Freedom).

FDU got on the board first on a goal from junior defender Sean Mosser with 12:14 gone by in the game.  Corpuz made it 2-0 just 3:24 into the second half before feeding freshman midfielder Phil Symonkhon to give the Devils a 3-0 lead with 24:50 left in the game.  The Aggies notched their only goal with 9:44 remaining but it was too little too late as the Devils earned the win.

Senior goalkeeper Tim Kirk picked up the win, making two saves.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at home against Rutgers-Newark beginning at 7 pm.
