MADISON, NJ - In a battle of undefeated Freedom Conference teams, King's knocked off the College at Florham Devils by a score of 85-42 on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Monarchs improved to 9-5 (3-0 Freedom) while the Devils dropped to 6-6 (2-1 Freedom).
The game was tied at 7-7 with 6:09 gone by in the first half when King's went on a 32-10 run to take a 39-17 lead with 4:01 remaining. The Devils cut the deficit to 39-24 with 2:00 to go but the Monarchs got their lead back to 20, 46-26, at the half.
King's came out to start the second half with their foot on the gas pedal as they opened with a 20-10 run to take a 66-36 lead with 8:54 left. They kept their lead in the 30's the rest of the way as they cruised to the victory.

Shealyn Taggart grabbed eight rebounds.
The Devils return to action on Monday, January 10, 2011, at Ramapo beginning at 6 pm.
