MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by cross-town rival Drew, 1-0, in overtime in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 2-4.
The two teams were locked in a scoreless struggle throughout regulation though Drew dominated the statistics, holding a 27-7 edge in shots and an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks. The Rangers finally scored the game-winner with 3:27 left in the first overtime on a penalty kick after a foul occured in the box.
Senior goalkeeper
Kevin Herbert (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) suffered the heartbreaking loss, making four saves in net.
The Devils return to action on Friday, September 17, 2010, at Brooklyn beginning at 4 pm.
