MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils played to a 1-1 tie against DeSales in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the tie, the Devils now stand at 6-5-1 (0-1-1 Freedom) while the Bulldogs are 7-4-2 (0-0-2 Freedom).
The Devils got on the board first when sophomore midfielder
Josh Corpuz (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) converted a pass from sophomore defender
Alan Kaszubski (Morris Plains, NJ/Morris Catholic) at the 24:48 mark). FDU looked like the were going to hold on for the victory but the Bulldogs tied the game at 1-1 with just 6:53 left in regulation. Each team has some chances in both overtimes but neither could knock in the game-winner.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Tim Kirk (Pompton Lakes, NJ/Pompton Lakes) made 18 saves in goal.
The Devils return to action on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Delaware Valley beginning at 4 pm.
