NEWARK, NJ - The College at Florham Devils beat USMMA, 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-18), and Rutgers-Newark, 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-14), in non-conference action on Friday evening.
With the pari of victories, the Devils improved to 26-6 on the season.
USMMA - Sophomore outside hitter
Chelsea Hoeffler (Cranford, NJ/Cranford) led FDU with six kills while senior middle hitter
Lauren Brazier (Stony Brook, NY/Ward Melville) and freshman middle htiter
Erin Fleming (Oxford, NJ/Warren Hills) each had five kills. Senior setter
Kerry Kuperman (Scottsdale, AZ/Chaparral) finished with 13 assists and junior defender
Jackie Kressaty (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) tallied nine digs.
RUTGERS-NEWARK - Brazier dominated in this win, as she finished with 13 kills in 18 attempts. Kuperman recorded 27 assists and Hoeffler dug out 15 balls.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the Montclair State Tri-Match against Baruch at 1 pm and Montclair State at 3 pm.
