MAHWAH, NJ - The College at Florham Devils got one goal from five different players as the shutout Lehman, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon in the Ramapo Tournament. The Devils won both of their contests in the tournament.
With the win, the Devils improved to 2-1.
Junior defender
John Gaw (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills) got the Devils on the board just 0:58 into the game and junior forward
Duncan Swanwick (Basking Ridge, NJ/Gill St. Bernards) made it 2-0 at the 6:17 mark. Freshman defender
Sean Mosser (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville) put up FDU ahead 3-0 with 11:56 left in the first half while senior midfielder
Brian Hurley (Wall, NJ/Wall) and freshman forward
Conor Monaghan (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) each found the back of the net in the second half.
Freshman goalkeeper
Tim Kirk (Pompton Lakes, NJ/Pompton Lakes) made his first collegiate start and earned his first shutout by making two saves.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Ramapo beginning at 4 pm.
