NEWARK, NJ - The College at Florham Devils earned their first victory of the season, a 5-4 triumph over Rutgers-Newark in non-conference action on Monday afternoon.

With the win, the Devils improved to 1-1.

Senior Heather Suboleski (Sicklerville, NJ/Winslow Twp.) won at second singles and teamed with freshman Lindsey Martin (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) to win at third doubles.  Junior Alyssa Catuogno (Staten Island, NY/Tottenville) picked up a victory at sixth singles and combined with freshman Kristen Lefkus (Clinton, NJ/North Hunterdon) for a victory at second doubles.  Senior Megan Koenig (Jobstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) won at fourth singles for FDU.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Ramapo beginning at 3:30 pm.
